2004 Mazda 6 window doesn't want to stop going up. Starts making a grinding noise

First time poster, tried searching so if this is posted I didn't find it.

Not sure what happened, but my drivers side front window seems to have malfunctioned. When it goes all the down it struggles to come up, when I give it some help it goes up all the way, but doesn't realize it is up all the way and wants to continue to go up, resulting in a grinding / hard clicking sound.

I'm VERY "un technical savy" when it comes to cars. Is this something i can adjust removing the door panel? Am I needing a new window mount/motor? How much am I looking at by taking it to a dealer or just a local mechanic?

I can't say I have heard of that one before. I suggest skipping the dealer and going to a local mechanic to see if they can help you.
