2003 Audio Cuations!

Here are some things I have noticed on various new products.

Kenwood KDC-X469 - We had 2 dead units right out of the box! Youmay want to aviod this unit and the KDC-X569 as it is its sibling allthough we have not had a problem with this one yet.

Pioneer Gm series Amplifiers - The single worst amplifiers I have ever heard. TERRIBLE! Most of the time a headunit alone was better and the amp was an insult and only cuased quick distortion and clipping. They seem to be slightly better for sub use but not by much.

You talking about just 2003 pioneers? Because mine for a year ago sound great.

The JL imatation looking ones.

Ok, I've been kind of weary of those. I was thinking about getting one but there was something I read on one of them that made me decide not to get it....Can't remember what it was though.

A $200 alpine hea unit sounded better withou them, as did a pioneer deck and several Kenwoods.
