UPDATE:

I talked to the laser fabricators, yet again - this time I got an explaination that the product did not go out due to the installation of a new laser at their site. My conversation was professional, yet pleading at the same time - if you know what I mean. They explained it would go out today and I requested that they Email me the tracking number. If they do truly ship it today, I may get it tomorrow (Saturday). They truly apologized and iterated up front that this is not a normal occurence that happens. Ho hum, let's cross our fingers and do a little chant so I can get them this weekend.

Newf - More Pics on the way! lol
Brian - (1) Where did you run the purple power wire to? (2) How do I insert pics from imagestation?
All Buyers - Unscrew the 4 screws almost all the way out. Place light into bumper and screw away. Will make install easy. You will be making new holes, not using the existing slots.
Sceptics - I received all great feedback at work on the blue fogs!!! I love EM'.

Looks great!

If the purple wire is the wire to activate the fog light relay, tap it into the lt green/black wire (located on the parking lights or inside the cockpit behind the dimmer switch).

II-Savy, can you chirp in on the purple wire?

pumpkin! Now that's what I'm talking about baby!

What do you mean you never used the stock holes? I thought that was the whole point

Great looking pics! It looks like a professional install. For all who got compliments on your blue-ish fogs, good for you. However, I'm not doing this for compliments; I'm doing it for my own self gratification. What I like are fog lights that match up nicely with headlights. I don't want my fogs to be brighter or a different color than my headlamps. I want less of an aftermarket look and more of a stock look. I will wait for a suitable set of fogs and then purchase the teriffic and wonderful G3 bracket set.

EDIT: Just an observation.....Wow, look how much greener the world is in the picture of your Spicy orange compared to the picture of your Blazing yellow.

BRIAN - I installed the foglights last night. I purchased a set of the Pilot PL362W's at work, and of course it can never go in without a problem. One of the lamps was DOA, so I ordered another set. But on a much more positive note, the brackets worked out perfect, thanks for all your hard work.

Newf - he means that in the fog light opening, when you remove the covers, there are little slotted holes that hole that in place. My brackets do not utilize these as new holes are positioned away from these stock slots so as to secure the assembly to the bumper.

NV-607 is what I am going to be using. I have a set, will post full pictures online (no blue, no white light, looks good).

Everyone,

I want to personally thank each and every one of you who purchased either the GII brackets and/or complete kits.

Furthermore, it sounds like each and every one of you are completely satisfied. I am very happy to this as it is very fulfilling to have other people appreciate the hard work, complete diligence, and follow through to a promise to create something for people to use.

The G3s will be here on Monday. I have ordered twenty sets. I have obligations to several people right now. As of current, there are THIRTEEN sets of brackets left.

On another note. For those of you whom have purchased the kits, would you allow me to utilize your pictures on our home page? If so, please Email them in .jpg format when you have a chance.

This afternoon I should be meeting up with Dexter and Captain KRM P5 to discuss selling the G3 KITS (yes, kits) exclusively through www.protegegarage.com online. We'll see how it goes.

Again, thank you everybody!

- Brian

I ran the purple wire to the light assembly and tapped into are parking light wire. This way I can use the lights when my parking lights on.

Crock, The Spicy pics were taken this summer on a beautiful day with no clouds. The bad Blazin' pics were taken on Friday with serious overcast and it was just starting to sleet. I had to hurry to get them up for Newf. I'll take more pics on the next beautiful day and you'll prolly see that the Blazin' is JUST as beautiful as my old Spicy. They both have the same Mica/Metallic overcoat.
Thanks for all of the comments everyone.
Dean

Thanks for the purple wire info Brian and II-Savy.

Pmpkinhead, thanks again for the pics.

I think my decision as to what to get is going to be made by what i KNOW I'm getting. With your pics with the angle correction, I know exactly what I would be ordering, and what they'll look like. can't say that about the others, and I don't like surprises.

And I agree, the yellow is gorgeous as well. I almost got one, but the woman is not into yellow :(

I actually like the yellow much more then the orange

**ducks head and runs away **

Pumpkin, don't get me wrong the blazin yellow looks great. I drive one myself. :) I was just commenting on the drastic difference in surrounding, it's a dramatic difference. I'd like to comment that nothing brings out the luster of mica like moonlight.

Zmz, I have a feeling your pics of the 607's will be just what finally pushes me over the edge. The only thing holding me back is the fact that they're a little smaller than Pumpkin's. But then again, I kinda like smaller lights. I just gotta see them in this lip. I eagerly await your posting.

Monday morning udpate:

If all goes well, please see the following schedule of events regarding G3s:

Tuesday night - assemble/package brackets/remaining kits/obligations
Wednesday afternoon - ship the above.

- Brian
