Oh so the mesh covering when replaced over the notches and screw holes if I removed the lights would cover everything and look stock? And are the 362's Driving ofr Fog lights? I have seen them listed both ways. Must say excellent work on these kits, I prolly will be ordering one from you very soon.

Yes the stock grills and mesh thing will cover any holes you make. The large 5 inches have been named fog and driving. Brian has told me pilot always f's up there web site.

You know what we are going to have to do - when everyone gets the lights on, we're gonna' have to all get together and show em' off! LOL

Kev,II,Swimming, got back from lunch, your boxes are officially shipped off and insured, you should have them Monday/Tuesday via USPS Priority (felt better doing it this way due to the guaranteed nature and past business dealings).

I know I want a set, just having a really bad week financially. Just when you think you got money to spend....something happens. Of course this happens ( not saying what, long story) the day after I bought an X-box as a treat.

damn life.

I do want a set though, just gimme a bit of time

leaning towards the 602's. I love the driving lights front on, but don't like how they stick out. Like to see the Angel eyes though

Thanks for the update. Does the priority mean I will have to sign for them? If so, its cool. I'll just pick it up at the P.O.:)

All:

I just updated our web site. Due to limited availability and product defect (more on this later), we will no longer carry the NV-361W Driving Light (glass lens/plastic housing).

We will continue to carry the NV-602W fog and NV-362W driving with halo ring.

We apologize.

Hello everyone!

So let me explain what happened to the NV-361W's.

I did the car-wash test.

Yup, that's to see how well the lens on lights are made under heat/water conditions. The drivers side cracked. I believe it was due to the chrome chemical coating it had on itself. I ran into this problem on a similiar fog light on my '97 Civic. I strayed away from that type at that time and never had a problem since.

That's why we are not going to carry it. I need to take this one back and swap it out for a new one.

A good thing is, when taking the rear plastic housing off, I noticed that I could flush mount these (no reverse bracket) if I wanted to as it was just silly to see why they had a cover on this in the first place. If someone wants these 361Ws in a kit - I'll sell this last set for $100.00 shipped.

Otherwise, I'm waiting to here your thoughts on the 362W's w/Halo. I'm deciding on...

a) perfect the plate/gap issue

or

b) perfect a single-system product

Ok, so I'm on paypal's web site, and I'm just about to send money, when it hits me.... what is the total price for the lights and shipping to Canada - in U.S. Funds? I live in Quebec - J8Z 1H4 is my postal code....

I'm pretty sure I want the NV-362W Driving lights... just hope I can do it myself! I did wire up my own lights on my '89 Z24... had a nice switch too. I presume you still give out the tape and tie wraps to do it all nice like...

OH, and is there already a nice hole in the firewall to get the wires through, or do we have to drill our own???

Thanks for the lights , HOLY SPARE TIME BATMAN, what a nice job you did!

Just thought of something too, if there are several Canadians interested in buying a kit, maybe we can do a group buy and save on Duty fees as well as shipping. Lemme know, I can pre-order like 10 kits cuz I'm loaded! :)

Okay, I've thought about this and looked into the CANADA exchange:

As-is, the Paypal funds are in US dollars and shipping via USPS costs the same for me either way. For those interested up north, use US funds and expect to pay duty fees, etc. of about $25.00/set.

HOWEVER

I think we all can get around duty fees, etc. since there is only one GENII-M system out there and it is not patented yet and can not be compared to anything out there (i.e. in the realm of home made) so from what I can't tell, they can't look it up or do a duty on the assembly. They can charge you something on say the fog lights. What you can do is to purchase the lights in Canada (comes with electrical wiring, etc.) and I will supply the assemblies - complete to mount (I'll have to figure out costs but expect a complete shipped assembly set to be around $65-70.00 US, less in quantity). All you will need to do is screw in two screws to mount the light to the assembly and there ya' go - very much like my kit (but in this case, it will not be complete or in the packaging that I use, etc.).

Regarding how long it will take to put the lights on the assemblies and on the car (about 15 minutes tops) and the wiring another 30-45 minutes depending how anal you are. You can use an existing grommet in the firewall. You may want to pick up some electrical tape and tie wraps to do the job yourself (I prewire all my harness's myself on my own cars = takes much longer so it's mostly hidden) - not hard at all.

If you are loaded, we welcome your money.

Let me know what you want to do.

Sounds good, I will have to check the availability of those lights around here.... I may end up having to order them from the U.S., in which case I will end up getting them off you. I'll keep you posted as to the cost and availability of the driving lights in Canada.

First off I have to say wow!

look at this package! unreal. This guy took some time with this product. Take a look at these pictures right after I opened the box. look at the lables on the individual packages.

More pics to come tonight!

Hi.

Yup, I spend quite a bit of time on making each and every customer happy. Just as people crave "good things" I overall try to create the best experience as possible for friends and customers alike.

I'm in the process of slightly redesigning the plate. II-Savy will understand. I am trying to reduce the amount of parts in the kit (aside from the lights). I am incorporating winged brackets right on the plate instead of adding two screws, two nuts, and two brackets to each plate. In otherwords, I will bend two pieces on a single plate to be the inner brackets hence losing two screws on either side. Furthermore I am also relocating the outer screw holes to affix the assembly to the bumper. I am mainly reworking the design not for the PL-362W lights (what II-Savy has), but for other smaller 4" lights to fit flush. Oh yeah, I am reworking the outer edges of the plate to ELIMINATE all possibility of gap. This will take time (over a week or so). I'm planning on putting an order of these in hopefully in two weeks or less. We'll see.

As far as the current GENII-M assemblies, here are some day pictures of the NV-602W (back on my car).

Again, thanks for your support.

I also saw the kit in person last sat, It looked really nice, and very clean like factory style. I took pics but i left my camera at gf's house.
anyway, that was fast shipment, show us more pics II-Savy :D

Looks good, now if only someone would make an Sti style fog light cover you guys would be set.

yeah, I'm defintely getting a set of these. Just waiting to see what the larger ones look like first( and funds). But so far so good. Your doing the improvements above ( I was hoping you would ) this is going to make a good thing great.

Excellent job man!
