1 good thing about the Mazda 3

****** Yes, this is a Pro 5 thread!*******

One of the reasons I love the Pro 5 is its looks, and for me the Mazda 3 lost everything I loved. This has made more than a few Pro 5 owners mad (me included).

Then something dawned on me. If the 04 is the Mazda 3, that means there will have only been 3 years of my beloved Pro 5s sold. That makes us Pro 5 owners part of a pretty exclusive club. We will not have to suffer the fate of anyone who purchased a Civic. On the way from my parking spot at the mall (out in the ass end of nowhere) I spotted 10 civics (4 of the hatches) to my one Pro 5. Just one more reason to love my car.(wiggle)

The Protege5 was first released in 2002. A 2002.5 refresh and finally a 2003 & 2003.5. That is only 2 years. Am i missing something? Don't mean to nit pick. I totally agree with the limited production run. Can either hurt or harm cars value. Only time will tell.

I totally agree that we would be in an exclusive club, our cars are unique and people do double takes on our cars cause they look so damn good. The crap part is is that these cars probably won't keep their value pretty high, because of only having 2 years of production. Then of course is after market stuff, sure we have some pretty good stuff out there right now, but we don't have a lot to choose from...why would performance manufacturers spend alot of research and development on such a limited production run of the car.

Maybe we can get lucky and manufacturers start bringing stuff out for our cars...I mean damn I've noticed so many people doing stuff to their Neon's lately, its like a contagious bug going on in San Diego where everyone with a Neon spending some bling bling on that car.
