1/8th Mile Drag times

Hey guys,
I am trying to figure out where I should be running and what my car is capable of... I dont have the 1/4 mile track so we go to the 1/8th. My fastest time was a 9.2 stock. So has anyone ran in the 1/8th stock? What did you run? What about with CAI? I just installed mine and should I run much faster now??? Thanks!!!

you should be doing high 8s. 8.7-8.9 would be a very good time. 9.0 good. 9.1-9.2 OK. +9.5 you suck

Haha.. the first time i went i was gettin 9.4-9.7 so i def sucked! Haha... So im close then.. what about with my CAI.. about the same or just .1 or .2 faster...

nah, quite honestly, CAI doesnt do much unless temp. is under 55 degrees. Otherwise, you have NO advantage over a stock MS6. Ask mike, he raced me

How does you cpe standback ems work??? Does it plug in somewhere or do you wire something into it or what? Then how do you control its features? Does that have to be done at a shop??

you have to splice the wires going to your ECU and hard wire the ems! i have not tuned it, all i do is control the boost! and yes it has to be tuned by some expirience tunner!

In your opinion is it worth getting? And if i do should i wait tell the plug and play comes? That just means it doesnt have to be installed right?

To use its features does a compute have to be plugged into it?? How much quicker was ur time after install??

Hey mike - you have a manual boost controller? how are you controlling boost?

i am controling the boost by conecting my laptop to the EMS!
