01 Protege LX 1.6 sea foaming question

Hey,

I want to sea foam my Protege. I figured out that the hose that I have to take off the brake booster has a check valve in it.
Is it a good idea to flush sea foam through this valve? Can it get damaged? Or should I disconnect that hose on the other side and connect a different hose to fill in the sea foam?

Thanks

I used the vacuum line that goes to the cruise control module. Worked well, the car smoked a bit! 178k miles and probably the first time it had a seafoam treatment. I also put about 1/2 can in the gas and 1/4 in the oil.
