Seems like most of you are going Saturday, but if anyone is going Sunday, some of us from 6club are going to be getting there around 1030 or so.
There is also a caravan of four or five of us meeting on the MA/NH border just off exit 46 of 93 at 9am

last year there was only one parking area and we were able to (whoever gets there first should do this this year) get in touch with someone in charge of the whole show and tell them that we were a mazda owners' club and they gave us an area off to the side right by the entrance to the event where we could all line up our cars and hang out.

hopefully someone who gets there first this year can try to get us set up with an area and hopefully we can get the same place as last year as that worked out pretty well.

i dont really know yet, i told the gf we're leaving at 8 but she's always late to everything and may be driving from stamford to my house. once she decides if she's coming here tonight or tomorrow i'll let you know, but hopefully we'll leave 830-9ish

I've attached a satellite view of the base. You simply drive down the long road thru the base until you arrive at the parking lot area where we can all meet. There are usually signs anyway, but I don't think we need to ask anyone where we can park.

Damn that was fun! Sorry I did not get a chance to meet up with people. I did see quite a few Mazdas in the lot. You may have spotted mine as it was up front. I noticed quite a few P5's. Posting pics soon.

well i hooked up with oleg, chris, doug and jeremy (wife and kiddies too) sorry we missed everyone else, we tried to park in the same spot as last year but the security force was in full swing and had us park right up front near the tent...it was a good time...but i liked rev it up better!

I obviously missed you all since I had a later time appointment. Am I the only one that was a little disappointed with the driving portions? The entry tent was cool with the race car and video games, everything was well marked for signs, etc. The driving part was like 10 mph for 30 seconds in the Miata, and the RX8 was limited to 2nd gear, I enjoy shifting gears, and the performance driving class session didn't teach me anything I didn't already know. The golf ball thing on the Miatas...I see the point but it was like a grandma driving. Keeping these things in mind I had a really fun drive back up 93 to Boston and on Storrow Drive, I still like my car better than what I drove today.

I understand that we couldn't open up the cars 100mph....but it was still fun. Only thing that I hated was waiting an hour to drive 40 seconds....waiting another hour for another 40 seconds fun and so on..... That fix that, it will be a blast.
