i was thinking abt it but i need my car asap..... i am building a heat shield to cover the exhaust side and keep heat from my hood......

well as the turbo is apart and i am awaiting parts i decided to paint the compressor housing black and cut the 1 piece billett aluminum piece that i had made for this compressor housing to fit the exact shape of the turbo parts. the spots that fit used to be a full circle..................... just figured i would share some more pics as i am bored and have no car at the moment............

comment as you wish

so how much is this ending up costing you? obviously less than the BOOM but still...gotta be a little pricey.

my turbo is 6 mths old so i bought a rebuild kit for 100 dollars ..... plus i bought the turbo module for my mpi.... so abt 250 ish

well the rebuild kit arrived yesterday so holpfully by this afternoon i will have my car back
rob

well after spending all day working on it my car is now all better and not smoking anymore....... woo hoo
tomorrow i will install the turbo module......

well here is the turbo after it was reinstalled.....

holpfully this saga is over since it still smokes on a few occasions when it gets hot.....were thinking it is just some residual oil left in their burning off since after 2 days of driving it is getting less.......

we will see in a few days........
