why not? u dont know what will happen there...what happens if you accidentally down shift @ high rpms!!!

If you "accidently" down shift and over rev you obviously dont know how to drive standard nor do you know your RPM by gears.
You are wasting resolution by including RPM ranges you do not see period. This is vital especially with the 8x16 on the MPI. The tach on the gauge cluster is not accurate with the digital signal on the MPI. If the tach says 7000 its really closer to 6500.

Pretty stupid for keeping it revved up past redline for no reason.

Watch the video again.. never gets above 6,000 rpm's... which is a good ways below redline... you can see the tach and the needle never gets near the red markings on the stock tach... so wherever they start on a stock tach... (7K I believe?? or 6500??)

Later.

And the way the needles shot up so fast and all four pistons cracking you almost want to believe it! On paper it looks like a fluke, but then you see all the physical proof...

Got a quick question...I know with my mpi tuner...the way it's setup..that the temp guage rises..when i hit boost...and i have confirmed this with many other people (non-msp) that the guage does infact rise...any reason why yours didn't?

Depends on the generation of Turbo module. The earlier ones, that are really agressive, don't do that. The later models do.

Mine does sometimes. I have yet to figure out what I or the car is doing different to make it do it when it does it.

Mine does every time it hits the switch point that is part of the mpis way to control the stock ecu ..77

Watch it it moves slowly up I didnt notice mine at first because i was watching my wideband so close

I haven't even pulled the motor. It's just sitting at work out in the lot. At this point I was kindove hoping someone would break into it or steal it like they did the rx-7. I would be crazy to do another motor... I can't even stand to look at it right now, let alone work on it.

Such a pity. I can't get my race now. (fight)

I'll bring the Scamp or the AAR... of course it just wouldn't be the same.
