the problem with beefalo is just getting them to breed, cause the bovine bulls are afraid of the buffalo cows.

heres the wierd ass story my dad just told me:

"well i went with a friend of mine who was a business man that dealed with cattle and we had to go to wyoming to get something called beefalo. some sort of cross breed. well anyways we went to this guys ranch and he was some crazy mother ****** who was all into cross breeding different kinds of animals and he had a whole beefalo ranch. unfortunately he got shut down by all the cattle ranchers beacuse beefalo is actually a superior meat to beef. its healthier, cheaper to raise, and it dosent shrink when you cook it. they could eat anything and still stay tender. blah blah blah this guy had a lincon continental with huge bull horns on the front and he took us for a drive through a field(not on a road in the middle of a field) on his ranch, AT 80MPH!!! and he screamed like a madman the whole way through. anyways after he got shut down, he went on some project to cross breed yacks with water bufflo's to create some kind of animal 3 times bigger than a normal cow!"

i have to hear those stories every day.

Buffalo is good. I also like guinea pig, but it's too small to make steaks - you have to cook and eat the whole thing.

And not to set off a BBQ war, but NC barbecue (pork) rules! Both eastern and western styles kick ass!
