I guess I'll start things off

150 mph/ 2001 Acura CL-S

A thread like this really hit the wall on the mr2 list. The only speeds I now trust are those confirmed with radar guns or GPS. Not to slam anyone, just that there's no way you can do 140 mph in an '85-'89 MR2 (except with new gears and different tires).

So, any new speeds - post if electronically confirmed or not. And if you got a ticket proving that speed, extra bonus points.

183 in an SL65. (I wasnt driving). Scared shitless, but it only took like 30 seconds to get up there and 15 seconds of having my face tore off as we droped from 180 to 80 in like 6 seconds.

170ish on my 1000R a couple years ago on I-84 Eastbound just south of farmington, CT. It was quite a rush, but not something I'd do again on a interstate.

however, I do plan on breaking 200mph sometime before I die. Just need to get a new bike..or a job. Either way.

about 280km/h on the back of my friends Bike. Scarey doesn't describe it...you think speed is bad when surrounded by metal and glass..even scarier when open air. Racing leathers and helmets worn...like they would even make a difference.
