Don't the 03's come without the lip? They look ok, no?

I would leave it bro, stay as close to as stock as you can... us 03.5 guys have to keep the look lol. And yea about unbolting the cross member, im not quite sure about what your thinking so gimme a ring and we will meet up... preferably in the day time and i will take a look at what your thinking about sounds like a good idea though

Was thinking of taking the front lip off. Just for a change, and to reduce the rattling. After both mounts, the rattling is more pronounced. This is what she looks like now... http://www.msprotege.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=61400

Should I leave it on, or take it off?
LEAVE it. The MSP is beautiful as it is.

Two of the nicest clean car on here are below.
They both have lips

For some reasons I like the stock a bit better. It fits better on the sides.

well duh...but the thread clearly asks for OUR opinions :p

I do... but to me, either way looks alright. But I decided to keep it on. Its mostly cause of the way the lip looks. On the sides, the tape sucks and it's separated, and underneath... rattles. I think I am just going to take it off, and retape it.

well the guy clearly has no opinion of his own

well yeah, the original tape that mazda used sucks really bad. i've had my rear lip almost completely fall off once while i'm driving. i took it back to them TWICE to get it done properly. it is warranteable

how in the world did it completely fall off, there are 4 screws holding the rear lip on... how do i know? i Just took it off on saturday, was easy to take off but there is no way it should just fall off unless the screws came off just the tape will not make it fall off, just sag.
