Does it count if the "custom" things that I've done can be removed in less that an hour? I have some of those....

i dont see why not, as long as YOU came up with them. post up pics man, i figured this thread would just give people some ideas or alternatives to separate their cars from everyone else and show off their creativity.

Maybe these count?

Rally armor flaps. They don't make them specifically for our cars, so I had to use the universal kit. Plus, I've never seen them on our car

This isn't really that great, but again, I haven't seen it done before, so I did it for kicks.

Oh, and I put a blue led light strip in my glove box since we don't have one stock. I have the on/off button on the driver side by the steering wheel.

diggin' the radio mod and the airbox. how'd you figure out the usb/aux and all that?

picture tells 1000 words and used the void where cassette player would go, and some 2-part bumper adhesive. all in build thread, click on my signature.

lets see, off the top of my head i have

leather/suede wrapped Mazda3 seats with blue baseball stitching

Blue suede wrapped 3 gauge center pod

painted DG Spoiler

wood hatch floor

tucked, shaved manifold/valve cover ( polished by me)

retrofits- GTI shrouds and french highbeams

Eaton supercharger

there are more but you can see those in my build thread soon.

wired my DRL to a switch and my fogs as well so I can both on, off or just fogs as day times etc etc

How did you polish your valve cover? I like that idea more than painting it.

remove the cover, degrease it and use a wire wheels to knock off all the corrosion. Start with 80 work till 800 and then use a buffs and polishing compound to get it to where you want. Most was done by hand so that i could make sure all the tight corners where done.

Every scratch from the lower grit paper before has to be removed or else you will see it once you polish the cover at the end.
