Just read an article in Auto Express magazine in the UK in the consumer help section. Someone had just bought a Nissan car (can't remember exactly as read the mag in the supermarket)(nailbyt). The car was factory fresh only a couple of months ago and he discovered the Maps were from 2013! The dealer fobbed him off and said it must be the latest version as it had only just been manufactured. After a complaint to Auto Express, the mag contacted Nissan Head Office (UK) and were told it should have been the 2015/2016 map card and they couldn't understand what happened. Surprise surprise, after the mag intervention he was sent a free updated card. Everyone else will have to pay 146 for a new card. (don't know the $ conversion).
At least we get 3 years free map updates. It looks like with Nissan you pay for a new card every year with no downloadable option.....
No manufacturer is perfect it would seem.
