yay for my pictures (my car)

First off let me say that your car is awesome. I havent seen a msp with the dgm lip yet but it looks awesome. ! question, How was the fitment on that lip? Was it expensive to paint? I have heard horroe stories about the fitment of it. Also, what color was the top part of the lip when you recieved it from dg? I ask because i have a black msp and was wondering if i would even have to paint it.

Also, I had an idea for your hood. I like it but i think it would look 100 X sicker if you either
A.) Painted in to match your car, or
B.) Painted the outsides of it up to where the ridges come in so it flows with the cars lines. I think that would look sick honestly.

Great work Man

my initial plan was to paint it, but I put it on and just thought it looked perfect....i think everyone who sees it in person likes the way the CF contrasts with the orange and breaks up the color as opposed to having such "vast expanses' of the orange on the front. I also wanted to paint the raised sides but didnt think that would look complete without a CF grill, and after shopping it around, it became apparent that having a layer of CF laid over my autoexe might be more $$ than i wanted to spend on it. But DGM is doing a run of CF grills now so maybe ill paint the sides for next spring

as for the lip.....fitment was a hoe. every aspect of installing the lip scratched my bumper. all kinds of scratches and scrapes and all kinds of spicy orange missing from my stock bumper now. I also needed to sand down the driver's side to get it to fit, and even then we were pryin it and pryin it and bendin and stretchin and i was grtiin my teeth waitin to hear a SNAP

the top part of the grill is black to start with but you should still probably paint it to make sure it matched right.

also worth noting you can see through the single layer of CF in some areas and there are a lot of imperfectoins in it

nothing you notice in pics or when looking, but when i opened the box when i received it, i was like durrrrr

link didnt work but i kno what u mean about painting the raised sides, in my opinion it isnt worth it unless u have the CF grill to continue those lines down onto the front

hey slug, your ride is awesome! I agree, unless you carry the black down through the grill it doesn't look as nice as the set up you have now! love the metal grill! Can you send me the name of the company where you got it? Thanks man!

spicy, saw the video....you're nuts man!!

haha..i can't wait for ServoEyes to post his..its the whole thing..jred caught the tail end of it...even still..its good work..

Very Sweet!
One question, i'm not even sure if i have this myself, but how come you have 3 orange coloured inserts behind the lower grill of your front bumper? What is that?

those are vertical ribs that are part of the bumper. The stock black grill has black plastic that runs vertically and snaps around these ribs so you dont see em

you could spray paint them black so they don't show as much... the grill is black???
hey, who was it you ordered the grill from? i'd like to get the same material, thanks!

That looks friggin mean! I like it a lot.

Perhaps some carbon fiber stuff in the back next to set off the front a bit though.

:thumbs-up: nice car.
