XM Roady 2 connection to tape/md 04 M3

I have an 04 Mazda 3 and XM Roady 2. I wanted to bypass the using of the radio station as my audio source. Seeing it has a in dash 6 cd and tape/md expansion capablilities; Is there any cable or connection to plug the line out of the Roady into the MD input on the head unit and be able to switch to MD and use that as the audio control? This would make it a true digital sound I would think?

yes it would and as of now there aren't to many options... i would look at the car audio forum on the site (not the vehichle specific one) and there is a sticky (thread at the top) about adding an input. basicaly you have 2-3 options... none of which are that cheap... (75$$ and up i believe)

if the plug in the back of the radio for the tape/md module is the same in the 3 as it is in the protege's then you can get an aux mod from the boys at sylfex. search those two things for more details.

::edit::
OK i just checked and the Aux Mod works in a 3. All it gives you is the direct sound input as of now (no controls through the stock HU or steering wheel), which is good enough for most people and $50 is way cheaper than other options. They have a waiting list for the product but they just shipped out like 300+ units so I have no idea how long it is anymore. Theres a sticky in the audio forum for aux inputs, you can read that.
