VERY nice install. Shame on the XM folks for not making it flush-mountable. Any reception problems with your XM??
Congrats

They did include a bracket to make it flush mountable, but there is not enough space in between the two audio knobs on that section of the radio for the display to fit. Sucks too because I only needed like a quarter of an inch and it would have been a perfect fit! Oh well, this way works out pretty good as well.

Update On Install

Hey everyone, I just wanted to post an update on this install now that it has been in there for a couple of days. For the most part, I have had no reception problems with the antenna being located in the dash. BUT, for those of you who drive a lot in areas that have a lot of tall buildings surrounding the streets and no repeaters in the area, it tended to cut out a lot more than my old car. I took a road trip this weekend to Charleston and it worked pretty good. Had no problems on the highways and open roads. It would only cut in and out when I was downtown and driving at slow speeds through the buildings and what not. Hope this helps!
