what's that logo on the C-pillar?
Haha, I ax'd the same question. No Civics.
In all, I can attest from witnessing how much Justin's car rocks. It looks great on course. This car has a national trophy in it's future.
Well...I might be the first N/A Protege to shred a transmission. I lost something in the driveline on my 3rd run today at a local event. The car launched off the start without any sign of an issue. There was a pivot cone about 50 yards into the course and I downshifted back to first as I was rounding it. When I went back to the gas on exit something just snapped like it jumped out of gear. The motor is fine. There is no drive in 1st or 2nd. I didn't try any of the other gears. The diff seems to be intact. It's something internal in the gearbox...possibly could be the clutch too, but nothing feels out of sorts with the pedal or gear engagement. I'll tear into it later this week and post some pictures.
They are both on the same shift rod....roll pin for the shift fork snapped/worked itself out? Hopefully its something that simple. There is no drive in 1st or 2nd.

The weakest parts of the G15M-R are 2nd/3rd gear, 3rd gear shift fork, reverse lockout("guide plate"), and the bearings themselves... in that order.
My guess is you stripped the 1st/2nd gears (if there's absolutely no drive).
What kind of noise could you hear when you tried to drive in 1st/2nd?
The trans has to be from a Protege. i should be OK with a diff with a little better build quality. This one would have probably survived indefinitely if I would have welded it. Everything else in the trans looks brand new.
