Any pics of the engine? Nice conversion. It's not common to find so many detailed pics on a conversion, especially on a forum. I just joined today and found a ton of great content. I am trying to find a good engine replacement for my Mazda RX8. I called www.GotEngines.com and Jasper Engines. Got Engines was fair priced, Jasper was high priced, but Jasper has been in business longer. Any idea where the best place to go is? I feel like searching online is the best way to save, but it's a lot of dough to shell out when I cannot see the part.

Again, great stuff! My brother turned me on to this site.

It just doesn't sound natural. And I've never heard an RX8 owner refer to his car as "my Mazda RX8"...

A little update, I fixed my suspension saturday after seeing the tires were touching the springs then on the way home, I was on a bad side street and hit a nasty dip, next thing I know the shifts feel funny so I pop the hood, nothing, look under the car after smelling tranny fluid and I see Mobil1 escaping my trans some how.

Went back, jacked the car up, not sure if I bottomed out or the bolt was in wrong or what, but the smallest bolt in the rear MM bracket that screws into the trans ripped itself out and took a chunk of trans with it, made a decent sized hole in the housing.

Whatever, not surprising but I'm going to be buying 25Fconv's msp trans so it sucks but I'll have a brand new trans w/ lsd!
