theres a snap ring in there making your life difficult.... other than that, no fastener.

A nice pry bar works great too. Just be careful what you pry against. Word of advice wrap the hub spines in a rag so incase it pops out hard you will not damage the teeth.

Dont forget there is a type of bracket the holds the Passenger shatft in place on the back of the block. I had to take it off to get it out.

Started her up today, figured after 16 days she'd be about dead, which she was. I put her on a charger for a bit then started her up. Sounded good. Took it for a spin around the block, it was very short, I had to drive slow, and she ran like s***, but it still put a smile on my face.

My TT wasn't working though. The whole time it just had all the icons lit up like it does when u turn it on, even after I turned the car off, it stayed on. I had to disconnect the wires so it'd turn off. I turn the car on again and it did its load then showed three backwards Cs like

and stayed like that. It turned off with the car but the TT won't do anything. Maybe it got shorted out?

yea i was hitting the axle and it didnt come out, so i was like wtf, then i realized i only took out 2 bolts and there was 3 in the bracket

Hey dub, I think you should invest in a rebuild kit to replace some of the internals and gaskets.

I think there something like 300-400.

In protege news, went to the engine shop today, should be dropping the motor off sometime this week.

Oh, THATS what you mean't. I talk about our convos to her frequently so she knows who you are, when she asked I had muted you by accident, thats why if you heard, she said "oh" even though you probably didn't hear me say anything. lol

The motor rebuild is back on, but I didn't wanna say anything until it was a for sure for sure thing. I got the money and stuff ready to go, once it goes in, it'll be about a week then I'll be swapping it into my car, FINALLY. I haven't been this long w/o my own car in the 3 years I've been driving.

Dropped the motor off to get rebuilt, should have it back in 2 weeks or less due to new years.
