lol, exterior wise my baby is about done.

Once my side skirts are re-installed, familia badge is on and smoked halo fog lights installed, all that will be left will be wheels, re-tint and restoration paint job.

Got my volt gauge today and my familia badge.

Still no word on the clips. Justin basically told me tuff luck and I did what I could do from my end and nothing so if nothing comes with in the next 7 days, I'm going to have paypal do an investigation so I can get my money back.

Wired up the volt gauge, blacked out the familia badge and installed. Sweet!

Justin told me he is going to check the post office one more time, if no luck then hes gonna send another set of clips out, yes!

Hey so you know how the P5s do the rear valance paint mod?

I love how that looks and I wanted you guys' opinion, should I attempt the same mod with my 03.5 rear lip?

idk, it might look good

brandon did it on his spicy orange (the rear lip that doesn't have the two little 'diffusers' in that area) and it looked pretty decent, but black blends better with spicy than white

got a better shot of the rear? like from further back showing the whole rear? I can pchop it for ya

I would do it if I were you xDJ DUBx. That lip looks to plane to me. It would look good if you painted it black, it would break it up and give it more contrast. Even if you didn't like it you could always change it back. Thats the great thing about paint, you can always change it.

If you do it, use high gloss black paint. Personally, I like it painted though.

I have the OEM 03.5 Mazdaspeed rear lip.

i don't like teh JDM tails. I like the stockers more. Callme sick, i know!

And, all I did with mine was mask it off with painters tape and newspaper, i scuffed up the bumper good with a scotchbright pad, not rough, but just scuffed so the paint had something to grab on, then shot 3 coats of flat black BBQ paint.
