Did you try to bend the bracket some to keep it from melting your skirt?

+1, a couple lil bends on the hanger, good as gold.

I'll see if I can bend the hanger a bit, it's not close to the skirt, it's right on it. It looks good like that but you can smell the plastic.

Yeah I would say thats a bad thing. Maybe get some thermal cloth to put there in the mean time. And it will most likely be very difficult to bend the hanger. Those things look pretty stout.
