I think the auto trans is gonna go in the p5 and the motor + shell will go to a friend of mine who wants to build it ground up. Its just an idea as of now so we'll see.

i've never purchased an ATX in my life haha... wait, that ram i had for about 3 months was an auto,, but they didn't offer the manual with a V8...

but no man was a manual... i did all the other swaps you have done though haha

that was why I was saying I assumed you meant for the trans swap. lol.

so you're gonna give the shell to a buddy minus a door and whatever else you sold off of it? lol lucky guy.
 
Oh, haha, well they way you were talking about the control arms and what not had me thinking for a second.

Any tips on the 5lug? I'm gonna just swap the whole rear assembly with mine, the hubs for the front and e-brake lines, sound about right?

He really wasn't interested in anything but the necessity's like the engine, trans, drive train & frame itself. lol. I told him to do a KL-ZE swap, SICK!

sounds right to me. might be easier to swap the lower control arms too... then you don't have to wrestle with ball joints, idk.
 
lol, I already know brother.

One lower control arm is bent so I'm gonna have to use at least one of mine.
 
u dont need the control arms am i right?

there not hard to take out, but there is a bolt that runs trhough the ball joint nipple, and it has to be taken out. when i first tried, i left mines in and was just hammering away.
 
im sure his are safer than the P5's

its not that hard to get it out

aside from one off of the P5 being bent, the bushings might be in better shape due to the car not being dropped. The only reason I brought it up is because theres no way to know which are in better condition, and if they were both usable, it might be simpler to swap them as a unit... without pulling it apart and lookin in there, I wouldn't say which would be the better option.

ASIDE FROM THAT... theres no point, one is unusable... end of discussion.
