So I guess the next thing is. Now that my question has been answered above and beyond, Is there a thread somewhere on the good ol internet that explains some what to maybe "dumb down" the ECU.

and no...there is not a way to "dumb down the ECU"....Aftermarket engine management is the only option...Piggyback or Standalone, but its really the only way to tune this computer..

The lack of power is the only thing i really don't like about my car..oh and that rattle i can't find in the back of the hatch. The way the car handled is the reason why i bought the car in the first place. But now i find myself wanting that extra power but im hesitant on that because of these horror stories im reading about our motors. I have already ordered some engine parts for the turbo build but now i feel like there is no use if it's going to die anyway. (depressing).
