WTF is up with this!

Negative equity- ok say your trading in a car. A car your financing but not yet finished. Say you have like 2 years left on the loan. Well if you calculate the money you still owe and subtract it from what the car is apraised at you get the figure. Basically if you owe more than the car is worth the negative amount gets tacked on to whatever new car your financing.
I know darn well because I'm carring 5k from my Hyundai. Damn Hyundai......don't hold their values for crap! UGH

Just for fun I emailed the service department to see what they had to say about CAI's and warrentys. Thought this might help you all out a bit.

Here is his reply, btw from Minnesota here.

Hi Ryan,
Unfortunately Mazda doesn't offer a Mazdaspeed full exhaust system. The only
full system you can get is what comes factory with the vehicle. Installation of
the Mazdaspeed muffler from Mazda doesn't void any warranties. In fact the
Mazdaspeed muffler, installed as an accessory, is covered under your regular 3
year/50,000 mile warranty.
The intake doesn't really void your warranty. It's case by case, I guess. I
talked to the Service Director, he said that if a part fails and is related to
the installation of the intake, the failed part might not be covered. That COULD
include things like a throttle body, fuel delivery system, engine, emission
system ie: cat converters, oxygen sensors, etc. I cannot say for for sure. Like
I said it's case by case. But if, for example, your transmission fails and
obviously thats not related to the intake, then the transmission would be
covered. But if you put these items on your vehicle AND you race the vehicle,
then that will void your complete warranty.
And lastly, we do not do any tuning to the vehicles. The Mazdaspeed muffler
should not affect the tuning of the vehicle. The exhaust is already tuned to
your vehicle and SHOULD only improve the performance of your vehicle. If you you
have anymore questions, I'll do my best to answer them for you. Thanks, Steve
