Hello. I am looking to buy or trade (see below) for a good, working, smoke-free STOCK OEM radio for a 2008.5 Mazdaspeed3 with MP3 disc capability, (I understand this is standard).

The MS3 I have was purchased used and it came with an aftermarket stereo, an Alpine CDA-9884 (URL for the owner's manual). This radio works well. It comes from a smoke free environment. However, it has smaller buttons on it and the trip computer does not work with this installed (maybe it is not wired correctly?), and it also has an Apple iPod interface that was routed to the glove compartment. I do not own an iPod something I do not own and a feature I do want. I would like the trip computer, bigger buttons, and controls from the steering wheel to work once again hence this post for the OEM radio.

I am interested in trading this unit for a OEM radio or simply buying a used good, working, smoke-free STOCK OEM radio and this aftermarket radio will then be sold.

Thank you.

Can you please post photos of the radio you are interested in trading, along with a piece of paper that has your userID, the date, and "mazdas247.com" written on it?

For more info have a look at the *For Sale Rules (& GI, GB, WTT, WTB)*.

Thanks (2thumbs)

I will do this soon. I would have taken action sooner, but I did not receive an e-mail notice when you posted on this thread and wasn't aware of that pics for possible trade items require this (my mistake).

Thank you for the notice.

Pictures

As requested here are the pictures of the radio that I am planning trade or eventually sell if trading is not an option.

Alpine CDA-9884 - note the radio includes a mounting bay with an extra space below it - that is included. radio.webp (pictured below)

OEM Radio found

This thread can be closed. I have found and installed an OEM radio (thanks to the another member here on the forum). I will post another thread soon to sell the aftermarket Alpine CDA-9884 radio.
