WTB: OE sized radiator

Looking for a radiator. Has to be the short rad due to the route of the hard pipes.

Can be stock or aftermarket. Hopefully stock as I do not want to spend a lot.

i have one. but heres the deal. i thought it was cracked. pressure tested it and it was fine, but once the car was on it would leak. i replaced it with a oem 300$ mazda one. the kicker is it turns out my thermostat was stuck open so the coolant was just boiling out.. anyway i can check it now for leaks since its out of the car? i wouldnt feel comfortable selling it unless im 100% sure its fine

That would cause it to run cooler then stock, you mean stuck closed.

You should be able to get a rad cheap through radiator.com. I have used them before, always comes like 1 day later.

The MSP radiator is larger and shorter though than any other 3rd gen radiator...not the same...

MSP radiators are REALLY hard to source. Unfortunately, the only place I could find one was at protegegarage.com but it took 3 weeks for it to get here so I don't recommend it. The only other real option you have is to try your local Mazda dealership. Good luck.

Appreciate the help but that for the NA protege. 28.5in long instead od the 22 or 23in that the msp is.

Im pretty sure it dealer only. But that rockauto does have some pretty good prices.

i wonder if theres any other radiator we could use besides the sedan one that would be require minimal modding. $300 for a radiator doesnt sound too good

you can import a radiator for an RF-TDi from europe. they sell replacements on ebay for about $200 shipped (if i recall) but again, you have to play the waiting game.
