Hey joe you know wrx is like a mustang everyone has one now way to go and jump on the banwagon. Heres some pics of my msp msp 6
msp6
msp7
Hope you keep those deep pockets for the wrx because your gonna need money to make it run. take care

Lol, everyone has them- well not really in my area, I have only seen two others around here driving. I know there are more, but that is all I pass in my immediate area. Other than that, yeah- a lot of people have the, but like the MSP's- most that do have a ton of $$$ into them and no clue what to do with it :).

Just for those who care, I got a 14.3@93 1/4 with a 9.1@74 1/8 mile. Not what I would call quick- hell it was actually pretty boring, but still pretty good for a bone stock car with 160 miles on it :).

you took it to the drag strip with 160miles on it???
you know you're supposed to break in the engine by keeping the RPMs under 4K for 1,000miles, right?(hand)

I forgot you had an STI. I *REALLY* wanted to get one, but the "other half" nixed it on me :(. I find it hard to believe they are the better half- a better person would have let me get the STI :) lol.

umm, yeah, thanks.
Joe

Actually, now that I think of it- it was 260 lol. It was well broken in by then :). Everyone has their own opinion of "break in". I am not getting into this debate, to each his own :)..

I had 136miles first time the MSP made it to the track. It had 4miles when it did the first burnout (that I know of anyways).

ACT SUx!!!!!!!!

2nd. Gear launches are BADONG!!!!!!!
I have a vid of a friend of a friend's WRX. I'm no expert on launching, but he told me that this one was really good. It's 4MB, so I can't upload it on here & my friend's FTP isn't working at the moment. If someone wants to host it, I can email it or send via AIM.

Haha- I couldn't believe it when you told me you were launching in 2nd :). When we were talking about your clutch slipping and you said "that was second gear", I thought you meant that you shifted to second and it slipped- not that you started in 2nd. even though it hooked awesome, I just don't think it has the torque to pull from 2nd. Like we were saying last night though- it does make for some awesome burnouts on the street :).

Hey Joe good luck with the wrx i have a buddy who sent his ecu of for a reflash and did some other mods like up pipe down pipe intake fmic and he puts about 310 to the wheel these cars can get real nasty if you spend the money to do it. How ever ive spent about 3000 on my msp and i have ran 13.9 in 1/4 on 10 psi so i think the msp for the money is a good set up also. Hey can I get another fpr kit from you? my check valve broke and the nipple that goes into the intake broke also. Just curious if you can still buy them.

Thanks. Yeah, I am looking for a bit more than 310 though :)- I just hope the car can handle it!! I want mid to low 12's out of it minimum as a daily driver- I HOPE!!! We'll see what it does. I have to do exhaust mods next and then I'll take it from there. I have to send my ECU out to either Cobb or Turbo XS, not sure who to use yet. I would prefer Cobb- but turbo XS is closer in case I need to go there.
Joe
PS- yeah, you can still get the MSP stuff right from the site.
