I wrote to Greddy USA via their website about possible products for the Mazda Protege 5 (ie. exhaust, intake, etc.) Here is what they wrote back. It looks pretty promising. Maybe if we have more people send them inquiries, they will get moving on it even more. Go to www.greddy.com and contact them from there via email.

Greddy USA response:

Thank you for your interest in GReddy Products.
We are still looking over the Protege right now, so not all the plans are confirmed yet. But I am pretty sure we should have an exhaust for the MP5 by the end of this summer or early fall. But we are not sure if we will offer one for the MP3. Other possible item would be an intake But again these items are not confirmed yet. Please keep in touch with your favorite Authorized Greddy dealer for more updates. http://greddy.com/dealers/

i am young and dont know much but what is a evo?

no prob...that's what forums are for...finding information...

the evo i'm talking about is actually an exhaust system that greddy makes...it's one of the best on the market...actually evo is really short for evolution(technically greddy evolution exhaust)...but yeah...greddy makes some great products now only if they'd make some for our car...

Evo = Evolution...Greddy's Newest Exhaust lineup. It's a nice system, as with all of Greddy's exhaust systems. It's not a fully polished stainless steel cat-back however, but fit and finish is top notch. Greddy's also sound very good, not ricey and buzzy sounding. Oh, the difference with the new Evo exhausts is that the tip sits off centered, lower on the canister so that the actual muffler is mounted higher for more ground clearance. Check out Greddy's site for more details. I wonder if other companies like Thermal or 5Zigen plan on releasing a cat-back. I will email them as well.
