wrapped my ms3 around a pole :-/

I`m glad you took those picks cause know that I can see how the side curtin air bags deploy and I feel more comfortable get A pillar gauges. At least on good thing came out of all this...... I`m getting an A pillar gauge pod!!

J/K

P.S. I`m really happy you walked away from that it looked pretty brutal!

Glad you're okay. That looks like some impact. I was impressed with the side airbag. I was not aware they were in the back too. I almost wrecked mine last week in the snow. Wasn't going fast just lost tracting on a downhill. The hand of god only made me miss a parked car by inches. I've driven RWD for years and I've always felt more confident in "controlling" the car once you've lost control.

I hate to sound like a dick but you get what you deserve. You are driving on the stock potenzas which are worn down and there is clearly snow out in your crash pics....Those tires are not for the snow, or the cold (anything below 60 degrees they lose performance). They are a summer tire and you foolishly left them on and drove corners in the snow. Luckily nobody else was hurt from your negligence. Learn from your mistakes and dont blame the FWD for your crash this car handles very well and has things like dsc and tcs that will even drive the car for you when you cant handle it anymore. Stock for stock it can hit .8g higher on the skid-pad than an AWD Subaru WRX.

oo typo. Thanks for the correction. Either way my point is that this car handles turns and FWD isnt to blame or be bummed on in a crash like that.

so every ms3 totalled is that much more value for everyone else's right?

j/k, happy to see you're not busted up after that one

.

according to that sign maybe you shoulda been going 10mph less than you said you were going

LOL evvryone wants to know what junk yard your car is in, to Salvage parts.

But seriously man i cant belive you didnt break a leg or anything. good thing your ok man.

as your next car get a speed 6 (AWD baby!) that was the deciding factor between the ms3 and ms6 for me and more room.

good hunting.

Where is the pole, behind the car in the pic? Two Mazdaspeeds totaled this year already. Wow, what a spectacular crash, I have been injured with much less damage on my cars. I have totaled two - so far.

PS: I wan't your seats too! LOL

My Speed was temporarily disabled today by a chunk of concrete poking out of the ground. I almost missed it. It ripped the sidewall open but didn't touch the rim. The police had to go back to the scene twice just to figure out how the concrete did it. Yeah for COLD, HOT, COLD!

Glad you're ok, and glad the car continues to protect its drivers so well.

If you're looking for cheap RWD, keep an eye on the turbo 4 cylinder 2010 Hyundai Genesis coupe.

I am now confident that the Mazdaspeed 3 is a safe car and that my insurance rates will be going up because of another wrecked Mazdaspeed 3.

moral of the story is the car is fast if your inexperienced cosequences will follow... tires are skinnier than kate moss out of the factory and obviously a bit of snow according to some people reporting may easily put u thru the ultimate test. glad ur alive thats all, you basically walked away, think if you were hurt meaning u will be off work/school while recovering. Get the insurance $$ and get an awd if thats what u want

i am scared to let the beast out even in a little bit of snow which we ever hardly get up here on the west coast of Canada since I got no winter rubber on

Wow... Lucky you! Looks like it kicked left, came back right and then went left again into the pole. You can see your skid marks. You were down a little from 40 by then thank God! Just damage to the car, not you or any passengers. All season or winter tires in the "off" season FTW. Keep us up to date and post with what you get next!

Wow, I'm sorry this happened to you!!
In Germany, insurance would NEVER pay for the accident, not one penny, because you had summer tires on!
I'm glad nothing happened to you, that's most important!
