So there I was about 5 yards away filming the loudest exhaust contest. The Vette had pulled up and did his revs, then after a couple other cars he parked back in his spot which was right in the entrance way facing the street. One of those wooden horses was in front of the car. I hear some light revving and turn my head and I watched as the car slowly pushes the barrier with it's nose and hood, then the car creeps into the 8 foot tall bush which I believe actually stopped the vehicle because I did not even see tail lights come on. Basically someone really panicked. The car must have been in gear at one point to move forward, but as it moved across the street (which they were damn lucky nobody was driving on for that minute) I could here it still revving.
Another reason why they are lucky is that the entire street is literally crowded with parked cars on both sides. It really should be a one way and it just so happened to be that at that very moment nobody was parked in that spot next to the bush. Just after they moved the Vette back, a new Audi A6 parks there and the people go to church.
I then watched as almost the entire crowd of people at the show mobbed around the poor guys Vette with laughter and hysterics. I stood still knowing that s*** happens and he really did not need more embarrassment from me. Though of course it does bring a chuckle, I'm only human.
