I told them to...maybe once I meet them I'll convince them to start checking the NEPOC section of this site. However, most of the important threads (ie the UConn show and LimeRock) are cross posted anyway. Besides, I don't see any of your RX-8 pals posting here

But getting non Protege owners to join a club called NEPOC is going to be a problem regardless. I've stated this before But if we can get them to join us at meets that is a start right?

I've been trolling the forum for a while and I'm not sure that I'm in a position to suggest this but have you ever considered changing the name to NEMOC. It might make other model owners feel more comfortable about attending meets.

On a side note, The wife and I will probably be attending the meet with the MSM, might try to meet up with you guys at the courtyard.

The name certainly doesn't scare me...I still kick around the Contour Enthusiasts Group forums quite a bit and I haven't owned a Contour SVT for 4+ years now. I'm interested in meeting more of this group and I look forward to making some meets.

Really? I had no idea the name turned people away. Heck, call it COC (Car Owners Club) if you want to. I'll still meet up with ya'll. Or we could be dubbed with no name at all. We can be the secret underground club.(cheers2)

Well, I'm not sure that it is scaring people away, but I know when I first checked into this forum that I thought you were all pretty cool and I enjoy posting here but I wasn't so sure that I would begin popping into Protege Meets with my MSM. Now that I have been on the site and this forum I would but I'm not sure how many others would do so. I spend a lot of time at a Miata dedicated site that has forums for other Mazda owners too and unfortunately we see very few non Mazdaspeed Miata owners on the boards. I personally like the diversity, it offers others an owners glipse into other Mazda products.

it's not very big, parking anywhere at WPI sucks there are no large lots. and last year they decided that the biggest lot they had, the one by the quad, should be torn down and turned into a building so there's even less parking. it's great

also when i went up on tuesday for project presenation day there were flyers all around campus. given the nice day hopefully the turnout is good
