Wowie, wow, wow, Mazda has added $1,000 factory to dealer incentive to MSP + rebates

I'm not familiar with mazda's S plan....I got my contour svt on ford's A-plan, but it was a b****! As for the $1000 dealer cash incentive.....they don't have to do anything they don't want. If they don't want to come down any with that $1K dealer cash then they wont.....I would just tell them that you know about it and if they threw it in you'd have a done deal. Ask them whats more important: Moving another unit and making a new loyal customer or $1000. Ask them how much they spend on advertising for each car they end up selling....I know for a fact they will know that number. If it's more than $1K then you've just bought a car!

how do i get them to honor this 1000 factory to dealer incentive?? if so im in a black msp!!!
20500
-2500rebate
-1000 incentive
-1325 s plan

15675 dang thats sweet

You need to take ALL of that off the FACTORY INVOICE of $18,466, so you get $13,641 which includes your S Plan (savings plan or whatever that means).

There is no reason they should not sell that car at close to INVOICE price maybe $250 over invoice for a little profit but that's all.

Print out the factory invoice from Edmunds.com or Carpoint.com, subtract all the rebates and incentives, add whatever the dealer wants over invoice to sell the car, and that will = your final price.

Then start subtracting any trade-in allowance or money down LAST.

You should litterally be getting that car on the CHEAP from the dealership!

Go to it...it's the best car out there right now for that money which is why I bought one plus it has more leg room than a Honda Accord in the backseat for future daddies like myself, is cheaper, handles 100x better, and looks 100x better!!!

A STEAL!!!

In 2 days it's going to be 2004 and the dealers are really going to get stuck so if you can wait a week they're going to come down more. On the resale side, I'm always looking at tons of used car lots when I drive around and I hardly ever see any P5s. To me that means they're holding their value and are going to for a while. There's always plenty of 2002 Cavilers and Focuses on the lots.

Hey what's this S-Plan you guys are talking about? Is it for employees of Mazda or parent companies like Ford?

Hey at least us 2003 Msp guys cant complain, especially the orange ones. I'd like to see someone find a Spicy Orange for sale still at that price and with low miles that hasnt been test driven and ragged out like an old porn star.

I think you missed my post a few days ago about mazdasouth.com having 2 brand new Orange MSP's for these low prices. From what I understand, they are a volume dealer and had a LOT of MSP's under the auspices that they could sell them by the truckload....this was not the case. Now they are clearing them out at 0 profit. It's a great deal......yes, even if you want the orange or black!

This is one terrific deal. Ira Mazda in Danvers, MA had 4 on their lot last Friday when my car was in for service, I think one in each color. Someone was looking at the blue one, they were asking me all kinds of questions about my snow tires.

I could have waited 2 months and saved $1,500. Doh!

s*** id buy a spare orange just in case. All the oranges in DFW are gone. So what is this S plan about?

My brother got his Orange for a little under 18k a few months back at Hiley and even then they had to bring the car to the dealer. I must say it was quite a pleasing sight seeing a Mica Black and Spicy Orange MSP driving back and forth through the late evening Christmas Eve Dallas trafiic. I couldn't help but admire the good looks of the car and how well the spicy orange color turned out. It looks like an orange clear coat poured over a solid gold basecoat. Very good color. I feel eventually they will be more desirable than any of the other models.

If you have decent credit, go to your bank or credit union and get a loan for 15, then go to the dealer and offer them like 12 cash out the door. If they say no keep going up in like 300 or 400 increments until they say yes. I bet you walk with a fantastic deal.

I bought my MSP on 12/22/03. I got one of the last 4 remaining in Indiana. A local dealer had 3 yellow and 1 silver. I bought the silver one and got a great deal. I paid $16,200, there was still a little money left on the table, but I wasn't going to bicker. There are better cars out there, but for $16,200 it can't be beat with a stick. I read on some other forums that people had the problem with hesitation and got it fixed with a flash done by the dealer. I hate to admit it, but I have no idea what they are talking about. I have the same problem, but I've only got about 500 miles on the car and I'm waiting to hit 1,000 miles before I start to get into what it can do. Can someone tell me what that "flash" is? I'd like to have it done at my dealer.
