I would take it to the dealer and raise a stink then. Mazda is a good company and if you ask to speak to the right people they'll pretty much do anything to make you happy, esp. if you bought an RX8. I am currently having a problem with my dealer (they don't have the machine to take my tire off the rim w/o scratching the hell out of it, and in turn "accidentally" forgot to tell me 2 of my tires are almost bald) and finally got fed up and spoke to a manager. They're kissing my butt like crazy. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to kiss yours too.
