would you trade the msp for the ms3??

This thread makes me want to sell my pro and get a used MSP. I also have not warmed up to the 3 styling, and think the MSP looks much better. Plus, I wonder if the MS3 is going to be a limited edition like the MSP.

How will the Mazdaspeed 3 Perform. Will it slalom 70+mph or have .90 skidpad like the MSP? Will it have than intangible "j'un-e-qui"(french for undescribable attribute) that the Mazdaspeed Protege that makes it special?

A 240 hp engine won't be enough (traction-FWD) and the looks are questionable. NO UGLYS ALLOWED!!!
;p :)

nope. next car will be something more comfortable... and fast... like an Lexus IS or a 3 series. something with RWD!

not for me. if it was AWD then probably I would do everything in my power to get it. But a fast FWD car + my older boosted AWD car is more than enough toys for me at the moment. Doubt I'll have another new car for several years.

haha ive been yelling je nes pais pwas (basically jibberish) at rude french people for a while now, sorta sounds similar to that, nowonder they look so confused.

Nope.

I'll have the MSP paid off mid-summer, so not having a car payment is going to be great. Also, I prefer the looks of the MSP more than the Mazda3 and I doubt the Mazda3 will handle as well as the MSP does out of the box. Hopefully the MS3 gets clunk and turkey too!!!!

The clunk and turkey are option package CT11 on the MS3 for an extra $360.

Seriously, I've had a Mazda3 twice for a week as a loaner from my dealer. It was the 2.3 version w/ 17's on it, but I still didn't like it very much. I hate the dash, don't care for the interior, unsure about the styling, etc. Both times it was so refreshing to get back into my car.

damm i just decide to sell my msp , i have a lot miles and it has a lot problems, clunk, a crack manifold and it hesitates like s***, im sad that im going to get rid of my baby but i need something more reliable and fast, im thinking about lexus IS o something better

I'm still looking for a car I dont have to dump thousands into just to have it up to par with where I want it to be.... this orange car is as close as I've gotten so far...

but I bet those ms3's will be pretty fast... but the dash and hatch will always look like ass.

well yeah I changed my mind but i need something that doesn't hesitate, and have problems , i love the msp and it makes me sad that i need to sell it, if i keep it i need to fix a lot of things in the msp and that i don't want and the worst think is that the price for my baby is just 12k and i bought it for 21k so think about the depreciation of that car!!! I always have fun with it and i think its a great car.

Yeah I definitely understand the depreciation factor. By the time I finish paying off my car in August it won't be worth much on a trade in, so it will end up being more cost effective to keep it for a few years and put the car payments toward a house.

Those Jettas hold their value... If you ever decide that you're serious, PM me. I can hook you up.

yeah imvery seriousi will pm as soon i sell my msp to my best buddy!!! Im going to cry when ill sell it but the best thing is that i will see it and ride it because i will give it to my best buddy that loves the msp as i do!!!

I completely agree with this, as long as my MSP can get me around reliably, I won't trade it in for anything...would be nice to not have a car payment, and put that money towards a house.
