Would you do it again?

Simple question and looking for simple answers (yes/no).
Knowing what you know now about the "problems" with the MSP, would you still buy one?
Why do I ask? I've finally been able to locate what seem to be the VERY last MSPs in my area, test drove one last night, and would like to get a general consensus on people's feelings about these critters.
If you'd like to add personal commentary from your experiences, I'd welcome the input. :)
Thanks for the help!

i would...best bang for the buck...just dont expect evo or sti performance....different class

bought it, love it. I especially like the cargo holder for my groceries, cuz eggs get broken at around .86 G's skidpad you know :D

Yea i'd buy again. for 20k (prolly less now) you get a car that handles about the same as the legendary/godly M3...

PIECE

YES YES YES I would buy it again. And I have had ZERO problems at 7500 miles. Tons of people have had little or no problem so far as well.

Keeping it stock I dont see why not ... and a little mods wont hurt it is when u up the boost that things get hella crayz!

even with the minor problems I've had, theya re all fixable, under warrenty...hel yeah I'd buy it again, and again. I LOVE MY MAZDASPEED. Also, if you are switching from a 2001 Cavalier Z24...you will be very happy with the MSP, trust me, I used to dirve my grandparents Cavalier all the time, you will find the MSP to be a huge difference, and for teh better. Good luck on purchasing your speed. Especially since you'll be getting it alot cheaper than the rest of us.

i got mine with tint and a clear bra for under 18k...sooo for that price, i would do it again. However i would spend a few monye g's and opt for a rx8....the veilside kit is soooooo frekin sexy....

I drive around in my car all day, and some more "class" feel would be nice....i guess it stems from having a yellow car in portland oregon and having every cop look at you like your some punk kid.

Yes, only I would haggle more. Paid $19,300. But I am happy with the car. Flashed, rear bushings all handled under warranty. No major problems. Have 23,000. Minor mods: CAI, Turbo XS (6.9/10psi).

Its a heck of a deal for less than $20K! Its better looking than an EVO, WRX, and SRT-4!

Go get one and have some fun!:D

hmm im really not sure. Not that I regret the decision but knowing what i now know about the car i probably wont do it again.

of course i would, best damn car for anywhere near this price range... definitly the best looking for under anything cheaper than $50,000-- ya i said it!

HELLS YA, I'd buy it again, but not right before winter like I did this time :(

stuck in front of my house since monday...damn snow!

i have a great community of pro owners in tx now due to buying this car. but honestly i don't know if i would do it again. better ecu then yes i would. but i just don't know. i am up in the air. (dunno)

Given my decision parameters, "yes".

If I didn't have an absolute need to possibly hold 5 people (wife and I have 3 kids) I'd get a Mini in a heartbeat - even the base Mini is a laugh riot to drive, is (arguably) classier, gets more looks, has a better dealer experience, and retains value better. It's actually almost as fast, and has about as much usable interior space once you take the sub into account. Oh and did I mention it's one of VERY few cars that caused me th laugh out loud on the test drive? The MSP is the closest thing to the Mini for driving experience, tho, and allows another passenger, slightly more trunk space (can fit my Kestrel in there), and will support a trailer hitch (for the bike rack). MSP's now a couple thou cheaper too.

I'd be really torn if I had to do it again... there was this little xenon-lighted, Harmon Kardoned yellow Mini, you see....
