valve body is my first go.
torque converter may get weak after a while... but i'm not counting on it to crush right away.. i'm gonna run ATF redline, 24,000GVW tranny cooler and lentech valve body for the summer... if anything starts to slip, i'll immediately invest the extra $$ into the torque converter.. but i'm using my car as a test car for their products... see what each piece can take.

$3500 for their terminator PLUS.. which will take WAY more than anything any of us could throw at it (they have a focus running 11s with that tranny)
All in all.. it'll cost me ~$1500 to build up my tranny to take 250whp with ease.

did everyone know that the auto box in the p5 etc is the same as the sp23.

and did you know that if you can swap the final drive gearing, the auto 1-2-3 gears will be very similar to the manual box and 4th will be only slightly shorter than the manual's 5th. that's what you call bang for buck in an auto.

I dont understand how you get any traction. If the auto car is making alot of power it will need a bigger stall. How will it hook up with a bigger stall? FWD is already hard to launch, i can't imagine how big of a pain it will be to get an auto with a real stall to hook.

Well I don't think anyone here is pushing that much power in their auto yet and when it comes to that issue it will be addressed a lot of people did'nt think a supercharger would ever be made for the protege but matty proved there could be one. Bottom line if there is a will there is a way.

Not to mention:

Stock auto = (ghey)

Modified auto = (drive)

Same here......Maurice (DiscreetSpeed) said he'd call me tomorrow and tell me what the dilly is gonna be. I really dont care where he wants to go......i wanna see his car in action......its been so long. Even if that means he whoops my ass all night, which of course he will
