it's not the swarm of bee's stuck in a can that's for sure. I love the deep sound that it puts out in the lower rpm range, and then mix that with the sound the intake makes at the high rpm range, and the car sounds great!!

don't even expect that kind of gain even on a TURBO vehicle, for just exhaust. Maybe exhaust, header, and hiflow cat. MAYBE

Only In a perfect world will mufflers ever add 20 whps on a stock engine, but hey, its a dream

10 is pushing it for an axle-back exhaust. Most cat-backs dont' even increase that much.

has anyone put on their own exhaust or is too much to try and just let the dealer do it. I got a thing in the mail for 15% off of parts over $100. I may get my exhaust now with this coupon. How much does the dealer charge to install? My friend work at Midas so I might have him do it instead. Will I void my exhaust warranty if Mazda dosen't install it?

well it's on. sounds GREAT! Not too loud, but you know it's there.

I only had the dealer put it on because i worked it into the deal when I bought the car.

It seriously should take like 20 min.

How much and what dealer did you take it to? Is it a cat back or is it just the muffler?

3-4 hp at higher RPM? Has anyone proven this on the dyno? I'm looking at getting the Mazdaspeed exhuast as well, but I seriously doubt that it puts out any more than 1-2 hp, if anything at all. I mean the Racing Beat catback on the dyno puts out 4.9 hp to the wheels.
