I was speaking more out of the fact that I (BEING A CHICK) dont mind chicks in sigs. Because they said it was disrespectful. For me to say it upsets me is total bull because of my avatar.

Ladies... As someone said earlier create a Hot Guy Thread... I could care less... America is the prudest country in the world at this point... Other countries like Germany, Japan, England, & France have adult oriented shows on during Primetime viewing & the kids are still up. Why are we ashamed of something that is sooo natural?
That being said, I'm not saying everyone post porn on this site. I'm sure the mods would handle the situ & said person would be banned. Like I said earlier, some of the pics are borderline, myself guilty at times... If I were still allowed to surf at my job without being fired, I would just turn off the sigs & avatars while at work.
As for the home, I would hope that I'm either dating or married to a woman who not be so insecure about me seeing half naked women on a car forum. Last time I checked in America car shows & hot half dressed women go hand in hand. This is a car forum... Hmmm... Hot cars... Hot women? (Well except the International Auto Shows that tour America...) Oh well just my opinion... Bash away!!!
Listen, it's only about putting things in the appropriate spot. Obviously a number of people here think sigs are not the spot for chicks and sigs should be for cars/mods.
Have a hot girl thread, a hot guy thread for the women I don't give a rats ass about that. Heck I don't care if they decide to go all nude in those threads!. That's an appropriate spot for it.

At first I was not going to reply but I just feel like adding in by 2 cents worth being that I voted long ago that its getting risky.
I do agree with what everyone has said thus far but I am siding with Newf with what was stated. Yes, some feel that they have the right to put girls in their sigs and feel they should freely express themselves. I like to see boobs and thongs as the next guy but there is a line, time, and place. As most do, I dislike censorship as well but there is a time for everything. As Newf pointed out, you can't really refer businesses or potential vendors to the web-site because how it will be viewed. I use to browse the board before I registered and it has completely changed IMO. You got people who really can't view the board from work because of the signatures. "Well you can just select the option to not view the sigs"...while that may be true many members include pics of their cars and links to their personal web sites or photo albums in their sig. Do I have to reselect this option when I get home on a daily basis just to visit their site?
This issue was an eye opener as I started my break and visited the Photo and Video forum for a post of blue and silver pics that I had posted in months ago. Well I am reading about car information and next thing I know their is some chic spread eagle rubbing her fish taco. At the same time my VP walks by with my supervisor. I am very lucky I did not get pulled into his office for a "little" talk. After that I turned the sig option off but I still prefer them to be on.
Some people need to stop thinking "me, me, me" because they are not the only ones who visit this board. I believe moderation of this board should be bumped up 2-3 notches so that we can present ourselves to newcomers and businesses as a professional and classy environment.

2) Can I take a picture of you next to your car?
3) Can you make it sexy?
4) Are you going to enter the booty contest too?
Yeah, chicks and cars.... like PB&J..... tell the guys that keep asking me these questions. Eventually I'm going to jail for beating the crap outta one of em. Just a matter of time. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye... or a different body part.
