i use semperit untra grip snow tires and they are great. not expensive, too.

handle well on dry roads and great in the snow.....

they wear fast due to compound if you drive hard......i take it easy in winter.

Anyone have any idea where we can get a good deal on winter tires and steel rims for a P5.

Kramer Mazda has a "deal" for $239 for each steel wheel and tire. I think it is a bit pricey.

semperit ultra grips with 14' steel rims $333 shipped in USA. last year. maybe a little more this year and shipped to Canada??

I only heard awful things about Sunridge, my experience with Kramer is not that great. They are not dishonest (so far) but have poor customer service and pricey at the same time.

I just got my 15" steel rims and Nordic Icetrac winter tires installed at Canadian tire for a total of $650 (GST included, including tire balenceing). This was the cheapest i could find enxt to walmart. I got 205 60 15 tires. I believe the rims were about $45 each, tires were about $87. I found that the dealers are too expensive and places liek fountain are also rather pricy. You can read my previous post about sunridge, so dont go there.
