winter tires, what size?

Ive been wanting snow tires on my car because of the poor handling in the snow and living in pennsilvania we see a fair amount of snow. I wanted to keep the OE 16in rims but tirerack is saying i am suppose to use the tires 205/50-16?? I think they might be a little to big?

So basically are these tires to big?
And is there any other size tires i can get with these rims?

what does your door sticker say for tire size? go with that size. and what size tire do you have now?

There are many more 205 options than the odd 195/50/16, but 195 is best. Wider is not better by design for snow...
