So we have all these autox and post pics of your Mazda 2 threads but nothing is out there for our winter set ups. For most of us the 2 is our daily/autox/track day (bro) cars. What have you guys done to set up the 2 for winter use.

I'll start. Put on the 185/55/15 blizzak WS80 and cranked my coils up to max in the rears and about 1/4 from max up front. Just waiting on some eBay "OEM" plastic mud flaps....oh and some yellow bulbs "because rally car"

Man I should invest in Winter tires this year, Chicago snow is horrible and they barely plow in my neighborhood.

My setup hasn't really changed - though some mudflaps sound like a good idea.

The Rota RB's and Bridgestone RE-11A's have come off and are stored in the basement; the OEM Yokohama's and steel wheels (and wheelcovers) are back on. Now comes the Long Wait for Spring. My "pet car" will NOT be subjected to Winter's salty assault if I can help it.

Had to push a ton of air into the Yokohama's after setting all summer. A little surprised by that.

Better watch those Yokos. They are not known for good snow traction, but still better than the RE11a's.

You'll be surprised what the little 2 can do in the snow. Last winter I only got stuck once for 10 min on h&r and bald Yoko all seasons.

Slightly oversized firestone winterforce studded tires in front, stock tires in the back, plasti-dipped OEM steel wheels. Better in the winter than my WRX with allseasons, by far.
