Just had my first real test of the Michelin Alpins I got this year. I drove home in about 3 inches of sloppy slush and freezing rain. They felt great. Using common sense I feel these tires will plow through most anything. It was very slippery judging by how other cars were crawling along. No problem for the Michelins. Nice ride when dry as well. My gas mileage did drop however by 3-4 MPG with them on. I had to go with 205/55-16's since I'm using the stock rims.
