Winter CX-5 drivers

I put a nano-coat on my paint, and my windshield. The nano-coat makes it effortless for wipers to remove stuff. Outside of winter, I never use my wipers...literally. I only used my wipers once since I got the car, last week. At speed, stuff just slides off. It's the next step up from a product like Aquapel or Rainx. Although my friend is the distributor and I get this direct, and at cost, you can get it through select dealers. Here is a video of the stuff self-healing your paintjob if someone keys your car:

I haven't had problems with icing (yet) but I use Bosch Icon wiper blades on all my vehicles and they are great, especially in the winter. There's no place for ice or snow to build up on them that would prevent the blades from having good contact on the glass.

I picked up a set of these two weeks ago when they were on sale for $15 and they have been working very well so far. I wish the blades we just a little longer, but they get the job done.

I plan to upgrade to the Rain-X Latitude wipers each Spring after the harsh road-salt and other crud is mostly been washed away. If figure wiping ice and salt during the winter months is the worse torture they'll take, so, start each year with new ones after the salt and ice are gone. Then, by the time the next Winter is done, it'd probably be time for new ones, and enjoy the new wipers through Spring Summer and Fall when there shouldn't be that much extra crud on the windshield, ya know...
