Windows STUCK !!!!!!!!!!

Out of no where yesterday, I put my windows up to talk on the phone. When I was done with the conversation the windows won't go down, and the lil' red dots don't illuminate. I called the dealer to see if it maybe just a fuse, but they told me NO and to make a appointment. If anyone has had the same problem OR if there is a fuse I would appreciate the help. Thanks

Check the fuse yourself. The dealer just wants to charge you a fortune to change it.

If it blows again (assuming the fuse was blown), THEN take it in for warranty service.

Do you where and what # on the panel it is ??? I didn't see windows listed in the manual. As for charging me, that is why we have warranties.

LOL, I only got rid of the 7 because I had a 2nd baby on the way, I miss that lil' b****. How do you reset the windows ?? Even the lil dots don't light up.

P.S. I get 2 miles per gallon with the AWD 9.

The Power window fuse is behind the glove box. Remove the panel and you'll see 2 large pink 30amp fuses. Its the upper one. If it's blown you may get lucky and the dealer will replace it for you. But I never hold my breath with dealer service.

If you look at the fuse, it is a square female style plug in fuse... and a b**** to get out ( I needed needle nose plyers ). I couldn't find it in regular stores.

Well next time, I only paid like $2.50. They said I probably blew it, by putting all 4 down at the same time, NY was hot as hell the other day.

Did you press the window lock out button by chance? When engaged the windows do not operate and the little red dots do not illuminate on the buttons.

Glad things worked out for you. I had to go in and they replaced my entire window switch module. Seems the transistors in the switch itself went bad after only a few weeks of having the vehicle. The service was free though.
