I just installed brand new ceramic brakes on my MS6, every-time the brakes get hot (after driving for a bit) they squeal when i apply the brake pedal.

my guy at the garage says it may be caused buy bits of metal in the pad rubbing the disc when i brake, he also said my discs were glazed and it could be why....

most important thing is that my stopping ability is amazing. just very embarrassing pulling up to a light and having your car sound like a garbage truck stopping.

so i found these drilled slotted rotors online, would these help?(scratch)

if n e body has these or similar ones please send me some feedback.

thank guys.

I doubt switching rotors will make the problem go away.

Did you apply brake grease on the pads? If not, go back in and apply brake grease to the points of contact between the pad and caliper.

he said he did, think i can add more?

when i brake hard there is no sound, but when i ease into a stop its sooo LOUD! i cant take it n e more

try taking your pads out and checking to see if there are any 90 degree angles on them.if so,sand them at like a 45 degree angle.pad material builds up on all 90degree angles on any pads, sand the sides.it should rid u of this problem, just hope your rotors aren't glazed

they do sell a produch that is applied to the brakes,it's liquid.i have used it and it does work for awahile.but you have to sand those 90 degree andles off the pads for it to last

ill try it, the guy who installed the brakes for me told me that the discs were glased b4, should i just wait until these die out, or should i buy the drilled slotted ones?

thanks again

Agreed, that hard angle will accumulate barke dust and cause a rosonant vibration. However if they are ceramic pads there should be very little brake dust and this shouldn't be an issue. Drilled and slotted rotors can be pricey. I would consider different pads. EBC are prolly the best but if your just looking to get some decent locally available ones, bendix ceramics are excellent.

thanks but i caught a deal on front drilled slotted rotors from a guy i know so i guess I'm gonna put those...

thanks alot guys! ill post pics when i get them...
