Mazda 3 I
Im looking to get new rims for my mazda 3 pretty soon and i already have them picked out. XXR-525 theyre 18"x7.5" with +42 offset. I've been looking around on the forums to see if anyone had already had this with no problems of rubbing whatsoever. If anyone could shed some light on this please? oh and if does work, any suggestions on tires?
Thanks

i heard that with and 8.5 and 40 offset it wioll be fine so you should be good...
tires... i dont really know but i know all my friends like the faulkin or however you spell them

18x7.5 +40 is probably going to rub lightly if you are on stock suspension. Not all the time but if you have people in there or you are driving hard it might rub. Get 225/40/18 tires for the proper speedometer reading and to aid with clearance.

I am running 8.5 +42 right now and I rubbed like crazy in the rear and also up front. I stretched 225s on in the front and I am running 235s in the rear. I am very low though so higher cars might be better off. I got the rear fenders rolled and I have to get the fronts done too.
