i have a turboxs mbc,ive replaced my plugs w/the colder ngks and have a turbo timer. will 8psi blow my motor? or should it run ok

I think driving will blow up a motor. No, but seriously 8 psi should be fine with those plugs. Just don't be surprised if something DOES happen.

If it's cold out, lower it down to 7, if you are putting a huge load on the car(weight wise) lower it to 7...other than that, it should eb fine, it's basically common sense, also, if it's cool in the morning,, wait till you car warms up before hitting boost, but you should be doing that anyway. It's safe, I'll be boosting 8 very soon....getting CF Euro tails and a EBC, probably in the next month or less. I'll post pics. I can't raise the boost for a while though, cuase It's really cold, so maybe I'll get something else, who knows.

Boost 10....it's fine, but listen to my man from Canada here or else you'll hit fuel cut very quickly....especially with the CAI....I heard that some people are hitting fuel cut on stock boost with just a CAI on a cold morning. But as far safe boost level goes everyone including me seems to be doing fine boosting 10psi.

ha ha .. just do some reading before asking questions like that...

and there is no need to lower it down to 7.. stock boost is 6.9 or is it 5.9? who knows...

I cracked a piston at 0psi. Of course I was ripping it out of the engine when it happened. Damn you piston rings!

do you have a dual stage boost controller? 8psi is fine! since your unflashed you can even boost 11psi but I wouldnt recommend that everyday

I have been at 12PSI with stock plugs for over 30k miles now and the car is almost a year old. The only thing that has really gone wrong is the exhaust seems to like to come apart betwen the cats. It was fixed under warranty and yes it was flashed long ago.

You have 30,000 miles on your MSP and it's ALMOST a year old? Damn, you must drive a lot.
