will the led drl lights work as high beams to ??

Im a little new to this mods stuff and don't know much about cars. so i was wondering if i change my DRL to LEDs will they still be able to get used as high beams or will i have no high beams at that point. and if no is their a bulb you would recommend to get pure white light from since i changed my fog/low beam to pure white HIDs

no they will not work, the output of the LED bulb will not be enough

I bought these https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned) for mine. They work pretty well. They don't shine quite as far as a Halogen, but with my Xenon's and this I have no trouble driving down empty country roads at night. There is also this review based on a similar light http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/mazda5-technology-project,3795-8.html. These are definitely better than the cheap 102 bulb LEDs that you can buy from Amazon or Ebay.
